Dear Family and Friends, This year has been absolutely incredible for so many reasons! The biggest reason, thanks to your support, is that we were able to spend our first wedding anniversary in Uganda on a short-term missions trip to Gulu. Secondly, since our return Khara and I have been working with the lead team at Rock Harbor church on long term plans to do missions in Uganda.
We sincerely want to thank you for being a part of supporting us, both financially and in prayer, in something that we are so passionate about. You are such a blessing to us and to the people in Uganda. Without you we wouldn't be able to do the work we do there!

We would like to share a few experiences where we saw God move while we were there:
One of our favorite days on the trip was when we went to a local village and did soccer ministry, jump rope for the heart, and gave medical aide to local children and families! That night Khara shared her testimony and also gave a message on the prodigal son that stirred hearts.
Another amazing time for us was on a Sunday after Jake preached on the joy of salvation. We saw a woman in church who Khara had prayed for healing for on her first trip to Uganda in December 2007. She was still following Jesus and was healed of her illness! Praise God! What a blessing to see the power of prayer!
